Job Description: Training & Mentoring Manager

We are seeking a motivated and experienced Training & Mentoring Manager to lead our agent development and support initiatives, playing a crucial role in the continued growth and success of our team.

Role Objectives:

  • To develop and implement effective onboarding, training, and mentorship programs for new and existing agents.

  • To ensure seamless integration and utilization of technology and tools amongst new team members.

  • To maintain high performance and productivity standards among agents.

  • To contribute to the growth and positive reputation of the team through strategic brand building and marketing efforts.

  • To establish a culture of continuous improvement and feedback within the team.

Key Responsibilities:

Onboarding: Collaborate with the Agent Concierge to facilitate smooth transitions for new agents. Responsibilities include license transfers, getting all the team and brokerage agreements signed, and equipping the agents with necessary tools and technology to get started on the team.

Orientation Management: Organize and conduct regular orientation sessions (every 4-6 weeks) for new agents. Responsibilities include planning the event, preparing welcome gifts, and ensuring new agents have all required resources.


Training Program Development: Collaborate closely with leadership to create and implement extensive agent training programs tailored for both new agents and seasoned agents that join our team. These programs will encompass all aspects of the Spradling systems and technology. Training topics include, but are not limited to: showing homes, submitting offers, managing the contract-to-close process, effectively working with Zillow Leads, hosting successful open houses, listing properties for sale, proficient utilization of Spradling technology platforms, engaging with our preferred vendors, and other key areas integral to the success of an agent within our team.

Mentor Program Facilitation: Oversee a mentor program for new agents, providing continuous training support and being readily available to answer questions and offer assistance when it’s needed.


'Gotta Minute' Role: Act as a primary point of contact for questions from agents, maintaining active engagement on communication platforms like Slack to offer immediate support.


Technology Training: Ensure new agents to the team effectively utilize company technology and systems, including CRM, SISU, Dotloop, Google Suite, Canva, Slack, etc.


Opportunity Sourcing: Assist new agents in finding opportunities to gain experience by shadowing experienced team members in showings, open houses, etc.


Performance Monitoring: Work with the Director of Sales and regularly evaluate new agent performance, identify improvement areas, and develop strategies to enhance productivity and sales effectiveness with those agents.


Training Opportunity Scouting: Continuously seek out and provide training opportunities for the team as requested.


Offboarding Management: Coordinate with the Agent Concierge to manage the offboarding process for departing team members.


Compliance and Ethics Oversight: Ensure all agent activities comply with real estate laws and uphold ethical standards on a team, brokerage, and state/national level.


Brand and Marketing Collaboration: Work closely with marketing teams to bolster the team's brand presence in the market. This includes digital marketing strategies and community engagement initiatives.


Feedback Mechanism Implementation: Establish and maintain a system for receiving and addressing agent feedback to continually enhance team operations, training, and service quality.


  • Proven experience in a leadership role within the real estate sector.

  • Strong understanding of real estate laws, sales strategies, and market dynamics.

  • Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to multitask and manage various projects simultaneously.

  • Proficiency in real estate technology and CRM systems.

  • A commitment to ethical practices and compliance standards.

  • Knowledge of The Spradling Group systems and operations, preferable. 

Experience Level:

  • A minimum of 3-5+ years of experience in real estate or a related field with a proven track record of leadership and team development

  • Experience in training, coaching, and mentoring in a real estate context is highly desirable.
  • Current or past experience with The Spradling Group’s technology platforms, systems, and training is preferred.
